Sarah Carpenter

Sarah has had the joy of teaching for the past seven years. She enjoys sharing the love of learning with children.  Children have captured Sarah’s heart for some time, and she cannot imagine doing anything other than teaching. 

Sarah received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, with an Extension in Early Childhood Education, from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri.  She received her master's degree in Reading from Northwest Missouri State University. 

Following their wedding in Breckenridge, Sarah and her husband relocated to Highlands Ranch from Kansas City.  Sarah has quickly fallen in love with the mountains and sunny Colorado.  Some of Sarah’s favorite things to do include cooking with her husband, gardening, traveling, running, reading, shopping, and just enjoying the simple joys of life.

Kerrie Maas-Baldwin

This will be Kerrie's eleventh year of teaching and she's thrilled to be returning to BFA.  She looks forward to another wonderful and productive year with the BFA staff, parents, and all of her new students.  
 
Kerrie earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she double majored in Human Development and Families Studies and Psychology.  Upon graduating, Kerrie moved to California to pursue a Master's Degree in Education and her teaching credentials from Pepperdine University.  
 
Having previously lived in California, Kerrie and her husband Jesse enjoyed playing beach volleyball, swimming in the ocean, and riding their road bikes through the canyons.  Now as new"er" residents of Colorado, they love exploring the Rockies, biking, skiing, gardening, and camping in the mountains.  They also have 2 young puppies, Rocky and Sierra, so they are frequent visitors of the dog parks and hiking trails.  Being a Wisconsin native, Kerrie is an avid football fan and loves watching her Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers!

Tiffany Saleh

Tiffany will teach first grade at BFA. She was a part of BFA before it opened and loves being involved from the beginning. Last year, she taught both AM and PM kindergarten at BFA and is looking forward to having her students all day. Tiffany has dedicated her life and career to helping children succeed.  She strives to be a teacher that consistently differentiates and builds on the strengths and learning styles of each student in order for them to thrive, develop a love for learning, and develop strong character.

Tiffany received her Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and a minor in Human Services from Metropolitan State College of Denver.  She received a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with an Elementary Education License from the University of Colorado. 

Tiffany lives in Highlands Ranch with her fabulous husband of 19 years and her 4 precious children.  Her two youngest attend BFA.  Tiffany just completed her fifth triathlon.  Along with swimming, biking, and running, she enjoys skiing, hiking, exploring new places, learning new things, participating in Bible study, remodeling, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.  Tiffany and her family are thrilled to be on this journey with the BFA community.

Debbie Kessler

Debbie will join the staff of BFA as a first grade teacher. She is so excited to be a part of this wonderful community.

Originally from Ohio, Debbie’s undergraduate degree is from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus. She moved to Colorado ten years ago and received her Colorado teacher license and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Regis University. She loves children and has devoted her teaching career to helping children learn, grow, and succeed. Teaching is her passion.

Living in Highlands Ranch, Debbie has three children and spends most of her free time with her family. In addition, she enjoys the outdoors and working out at the gym.

She cannot wait to begin a new journey with the families of BFA.

This will be Emily’s 3rd year teaching first grade. She has also taught Kindergarten. Emily is very excited to be a part of BFA. She loves to see children excel in school and help develop their love for learning. Teaching has always been her passion.

Emily received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology from Colorado Christian University.

Emily loves spending time with her daughter and son who will both be attending BFA. She also enjoys reading, going to the mountains and spending time with family and friends.
