Grade 1 Teachers
Sarah Carpenter
Sarah has had the joy of teaching for the past six years in Kansas City and enjoys sharing the love of learning with children. Children have captured Sarah’s heart for some time, and she cannot imagine doing anything other than teaching.
Sarah received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, with an Extension in Early Childhood Education, from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. She received her master's degree in Reading from Northwest Missouri State University.
Following their recent wedding in Breckenridge, Sarah and her husband relocated to Highlands Ranch from Kansas City. Sarah has quickly fallen in love with the mountains and sunny Colorado. Some of Sarah’s favorite things to do include cooking with her husband, gardening, traveling, running, reading, shopping, and just enjoying the simple joys of life.

She transferred to Metropolitan State College of Denver two years later and graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Growth and Development with Elementary Licensure. Kacie is pursuing her master's degree from the University of Phoenix.
Kacie looks forward to meeting many of you—her door is always open.

Kerrie earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she double-majored in Human Development and Family Studies and Psychology. Upon graduating, Kerrie moved to California to pursue a master’s degree and her teaching credentials from Pepperdine University.
In California, Kerrie and her husband enjoyed playing beach volleyball, riding road bikes through the canyons, and camping in the mountains. As new residents of Colorado, they look forward to using their skis and snowboards more often and exploring the Rockies. Being a Wisconsin native, Kerrie is an avid football fan and loves watching her Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.
