Jason joins BFA from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he taught ninth grade science for the last five years.  While at Kennedy, Jason taught biology and earth science and acted as a technology and academic support facilitator to staff.  He also coached soccer and sponsored the table tennis club.

Jason is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where he earned a bachelor’s degree in 5-12 Science and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership.

Jason and his wife, Kelsey, enjoyed being outside with family and friends during the warm and humid summer months in Iowa but look forward to the Colorado winter months for skiing and hiking. And their dog Hubble is eager to hit the trails.

Jason is excited to be a part of the BFA staff and mission for excellence.  He looks forward to sharing his passion for science and technology with students as he moves into the sixth grade classroom.
