Instructional Aides

Diane DePinto

Diane is excited to return for her 4th year as a Kindergarten Instructional Aide.  She's spent the past 16 years teaching mostly primary Spanish at Platte River Academy, another Core Knowledge Charter School.  She will continue that role at Platte River, teaching classes in the mornings and spending her afternoons at Ben Franklin.

Diane is originally from Kansas, but has called Colorado home since 1985.  She lives in Highlands Ranch with her husband, Ken, a civil engineer and senior project manager with Atkins.  Her eldest son, Eric, is a 2013 graduate of the Colorado School of Mines.  He and his wife, Claire, live in Spring, TX, a Houston suburb, where Eric is employed as an electrical engineer with ExxonMobil and Claire is on staff at Anderson Elementary as a 2nd grade teacher.  Diane's youngest son, Andrew, is in his senior year at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs where he is studying Psychology.

Diane loves working with elementary students and feels blessed to be a part of BFA's amazing kindergarten team!

Their two boys (Jordan, 8th grade & Cullen, 6th grade) attend BFA.

Traci and her family live with their dog, Zulu and cat, Zoe in Highlands Ranch. They enjoy the wonderful outdoor life that Colorado has to offer and take advantage of it as much as possible. Traci also enjoys graphic design, watching movies, reading, writing, traveling, photography, and blogging…all while drinking copious amounts of coffee.
