Lightning Bolt Before/After School Enrichment (BASE)
We serve children and parents by providing a safe, enriching, convenient, and affordable school-age child care program. Our on-site program features indoor and outdoor activities that keep your child engaged and safe while giving them plenty of time to work on their homework. The Lightning Bolt BASE Program is staffed by Ben Franklin Academy employees who have all been screened and have undergone strict background checks through the State of Colorado. In addition, our program utilizes scanning technology for child check-in/check-out procedures to guarantee a safe and secure environment.
All BASE participants MUST have a current and complete APPLICATION on file in order to be accepted into the program. Applications and payment must be returned prior to first day of attendance.

PLEASE NOTE
Ben Franklin Academy will be hosting a Registration Day for parents and children on August 30 and 31. We highly encourage parents to stop by the BASE table during this event to turn in completed applications and to get their BASE accounts set up. This process includes picture taking for the parents. Parents that take advantage of this time will reduce the set up time required on the first day of school.
Pricing
Priced at only $7 per session, the Ben Franklin Academy BASE program is more affordable than most child care options in the marketplace. In addition, we offer a multiple child discount to families with more than one child. Each additional child will be charged just $4.50 per session. Parents may purchase BASE packages using the Rev Trak link below. Credits will be added to the family balance and deductions will be taken after each use. There is a $25.00 registration fee per family that will be assessed once per year to cover general administrative costs.

Registration Fee $25.00 per family/per year
Before School Care 6:45am - 7:45am $7.00 first child/$4.50 additional child
After School Care 3:30pm - 5:00pm $7.00 first child/$4.50 additional child
After School Care 2 5:00pm - 6:00pm $7.00 first child/$4.50 additional child
Late Pick-Up After 6:01pm $1.00 per minute
