Kent Barwind grew up in Syracuse, New York, and obtained his bachelor of science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in information systems. Kent started his career in IT with Procter & Gamble and attended business school at the University of Chicago. After earning his master of business administration, Kent changed his focus to finance. He spent the next 10 years working in corporate finance at major consumer package goods companies. Prior to joining the Board, Kent served on the BFA School Accountability Committee (SAC) and Finance Committee. Kent and his wife, Monica, live in Littleton with their four children (two daughters and two sons). Kent’s current Board term ends in May 2018.
