As Mrs. Simpson announced in the newsletter on Jan. 19, we’re proud of the 2023 Apple Award nominees–Angela Bond and Lisa Dychus! Mrs. Bond (pictured below on the right) is our GT Specialist for grades K-4, and she has been instrumental in assisting teachers with implementing the new math curriculum. Ms. Dychus (pictured below on the left) is our eighth grade math teacher. She works hard every day to make math accessible to all students. She helps students develop notebooks that they report using well into high school. We’re fortunate to have both of them on the BFA team!
