        Nannette is excited to be an Instructional Aide at Ben Franklin Academy. She has worked at Bear Canyon Elementary as a Instructional Aide and Health Room Assistant and at Ranch View Middle School with Nutrition Services. Nannette moved to Highlands Ranch in 1995 from California. Nannette and her husband have two children, Rob and Lauren. Rob attends  University of Northern Colorado, and Lauren attends Colorado State University. Nannette enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with her family.

                    Jillane is very excited to begin her fifth year at Ben Franklin Academy as the afternoon Instructional Aide for kindergarten. Originally from Wyoming, she attended the University of Wyoming where she received a B.S. in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Psychology. She has been married to her husband for 23 years. They have two daughters, one who is a junior at Arapahoe High School and one who is a eighth grader at BFA. 

                    Jillane looks forward to working with the kindergarten teaching team again and helping sweet kindies learn and grow during the 2018-19 school year.

                                Holly is an Instructional Assistant for the 2nd grade team.  She is a Colorado native.  She has taught Pre- kindergarten and Kindergarten in Jefferson County schools prior to staying home and raising her three children.  She graduated from Metro State College with a BA in Sociology and minored in Psychology.  Holly has been married for 18 years and has three teenage children.  Her oldest son is 16 and she has twins(boy and a girl) who are 13 years old and all attend schools in Douglas County.  She enjoys spending time with her family, baking, reading and taking walks with her Golden Retriever, Baylee.

                                    Kristi is very happy to be part of the Ben Franklin Academy staff as a 2nd & 4th grade aid.  She is from Iowa and moved here when she was 12 years old.  She and her family have lived in Highlands Ranch for 12 years.  They are the owners of two adopted cats and two adopted dogs.  In her free time, Kristi enjoys gardening, jogging, crafting, reading, movies and hanging out with her daughter.

                                        Dana is an Instructional Assistant for the third grade team. Before coming to Ben Franklin Academy, she worked at Coyote Creek Elementary as an Educational Assistant.  Dana moved to Highlands Ranch in 2009 from New Jersey, and she absolutely LOVES it here!! She loves the sunshine, mountains, and the people. Dana and her husband have three children, three cats, and a dog.

                                            Sara Wilkerson

                                            Sara returns to BFA for her third year as an Instructional Aide for the 5th and 3rd grade team.  She grew up in Jackson, Wyoming and attended the University of Wyoming.  She has her degree in Elementary Education and has been working in that field for the last 10 years.  Sara and her family moved to Colorado 5 years ago from Arizona and absolutely love it here!

                                            Sara and her husband have two daughters Addison (3rd) and Hailey (K) who also attend BFA.  They also are parents to their dog Oliver and a cat named Lucy.

                                                I am thrilled to be part of Ben Franklin. I received my BA in English/Education from the University of Northern Colorado. I taught at Alameda High School for several years before coming to BFA. I am a married mother of four with three of my children attending Ben Franklin.  My family and I love the beach, mountains, and weekend adventures on our boat. I am excited for a great school year!

                                                    I am currently working towards getting my teaching license in physical education for k-6. Growing up I was very active in playing sports. I have a passion to teach kids about physical education and health. I have my bachelors degree in communication and I studied at the university of Colorado, Boulder. I’m originally from California. I moved to Colorado for 2 years in 1997-1999 and then came I back to Colorado permanently in 2001.  Some of my hobbies include hiking, camping and snowboarding. I love being outside! I look forward to being a team player here at Ben Franklin Academy!

                                                        Kimberly Blum

                                                        6th Grade Aide

                                                        Kimberly Blum is thrilled to work as an Instructional Aide. Kimberly has worked for Ben Franklin Academy since it opened. She was a very active founding parent, helping set up the library and in many other areas.

                                                        Kimberly spent 10 years in banking and personal finance education before staying home with her children for four years. She received her B.A. in Management and Corporate Communications from Buena Vista University and received her M.B.A. from Indiana Wesleyan University.

                                                        Kimberly lives in Highlands Ranch with her husband and two daughters who attend BFA.

                                                            Jennifer Campbell

                                                            8th Grade

                                                            Jennifer is thrilled and blessed to be joining the Middle School team and being closer to her twin daughters in second grade.  She began her restaurant career over twenty years ago with opening Spago Las Vegas, then moved to West Hollywood to become a manager with the Palm Restaurant, moved on to Geoffrey’s in Malibu and Windows Steakhouse downtown.  After her twin girls arrived, and over ten years living in Southern California, decided to move she and her girls here to Colorado to be closer to family. She enjoys wine and great food, (is extremely lucky to be engaged to a wonderful Chef) and spending time with family and friends in her off time.

                                                                Jennifer is excited to start her sixth year as a Middle School IA. She enjoys working with all the Middle School teachers, and students. 

                                                                Married for 17 years to Rod, they have two children (Rodger, 9th, and Ashley, 6th grade) In her spare time Jennifer loves to read, write, do puzzles, and swim with the kids.
