Nicole Poleschook

Nicole is excited to return to Ben Franklin Academy for her seventh year. She spent three years as a 3rd grade teacher and is entering her fourth year as a 7th grade language arts teacher.  She has a passion for learning and knowledge and a deep affection for all things literary.

Nicole has her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Education with an added endorsement in Language Arts. As a lifelong learner, she is currently pursuing her second Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and has aspirations of earning her doctorate some day. Nicole’s favorite part of teaching is making connections with her students and helping them grow to become happy and productive members of society. She loves middle schoolers, their sense of humor, and she loves being able to watch the way they transform from kids to young adults in their three years at BFA.

When not teaching or coaching soccer at BFA, Nicole spends her free time with her two daughters, Mina (8th grade) and Natalia (6th grade). Together they hike, kayak, camp, cook, host game nights, and occasionally binge watch Netflix.
