The BFA music program offers a variety of programs to showcase each student’s creativity and talent.  As part of BFA’s focus on the arts, each year every grade has the opportunity to participate in a musical performance in front of a live audience.

ATTENTION 4TH THRU 8TH GRADERS: WANT TO PLAY AN INSTRUMENT?

Band & orchestra are offered through the Douglas County Youth Orchestra’s program, which provides beginning & intermediate level instruction for all band & orchestra instruments.l

Band

Beginning band will meet at Ben Franklin every Monday and every other Friday from 7:15-8:10 am beginning September 8.
 
Intermediate band will meet at Ben Franklin every Tuesday and every other Friday from 7:15-8:10 am beginning September 9.

Orchestra

Beginning orchestra will meet at Ben Franklin every Tuesday and, together with Intermediate, every other Friday from 7:15-8:10 am beginning September 8.
 
Intermediate orchestra will meet at Ben Franklin every Wednesday and, together with Beginner, from 7:15-8:10 am beginning September 9.
