BFA offers a number of after-school and Middle School Electives in our Performing Arts programs, including choir and musicals. Options may vary from Fall to Spring.

After School Choir

AFTER SCHOOL CHOIR RETURNS FOR 25/26 SCHOOL YEAR.

Ms. LaCretia Gelley is excited to offer the Fall Choir this year. Students will learn the basics of singing and public performing as they prepare to sing some classic and new holiday music.

Meets Tuesdays, 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. Sept 30, Oct 7, Oct 21, Oct 28, Nov 4, Nov 11, Nov 18, Dec 2.

Dress Rehearsal on stage: Tuesday, December 9, 3:30-4:15 p.m.

Performance will be on December 10 at 6:00 p.m. Students arrive at 5:45 p.m.

TBD – Students will also take a caroling field trip to Wind Crest and sing for their community in December.

Join Jaime Johnson for an opportunity to learn and expand your talents. Cost is $90.

We would like to invite all current 5th, 6th and 7th graders and their families who are interested to join us at an initial information meeting.

During the 2026-2027 school year BFA is proud to offer a middle school choir elective that will be performing at Disneyland.

These students will commit to a year-long elective to learn choral and sight-reading techniques. In April, we will travel to Disneyland to perform and to take a workshop with Disney performers.

We plan to only offer this opportunity once every three years so this will be current middle school students’ only opportunity to participate. We are only able to offer 40 spots, first come first serve. Students will not audition for this choir. All who are interested in learning to sing better are welcome!
