Uniforms & Spirit WearBFA’s Online Directory – Opt-In ONLY by Tomorrow!
If you would like to opt in to be included in this year’s directory, please fill out this form by tomorrow, Friday, September 4. You must opt in to be included in the directory. If you do not opt in, your child will not be listed in the directory, and you will not have access to the directory.
BFA uses DirectorySpot (an app-based directory available through the App Store and Google Play) for our online school directory. It’s an incredibly handy resource that contains families’ class roster(s) and contact information (phone numbers and email addresses only, no home addresses). Once this year’s directory is ready, only parents who opt in will receive an email from DirectorySpot with a one-time password.
If you have recently moved or changed an email address or cell number, please update your information in the Infinite Campus database AND email the school registrar.

Join the PTO for Dinner and a Meeting Next Wednesday, 9/9
You’re invited to join the members of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) for their first regular meeting of the year. The meeting will be held at Ben Franklin Academy in the Middle School Commons next Wednesday, September 9, from 6-8 p.m. All are welcome!
The PTO will be providing a catered dinner from Cava. Please RSVP and indicate on your sign-up if you have gluten-free and/or vegetarian dietary needs. We will do our best to accommodate. Hope to see you there!
📣 PTO Spirit Wear Store Open NOW! 📣
The PTO’s online spirit wear store is open NOW through September 13! Orders can be placed and paid for online through the Denver Athletic website and will be delivered in early October.
New spirit wear! We have a new BFA design available this round, along with classroom-approved sweatshirts, fleeces, Spirit Day shirts (remember, every Friday is a Spirit Wear Day!), hats, and more. Show off your school spirit while supporting the BFA PTO!
A few things to note when ordering:
- Classroom and Spirit Day approved items are noted in the store.
- Please make sure you’re ordering the correct size (youth or adult).
- Everything is custom made to order, so refunds and exchanges are not available.
- Hoodies are approved for BFA Middle School students only.

Franklin Fest Tickets on sale NOW!
This time-honored event is a great way to connect with the whole Ben Franklin community! We hope you’ll join us for activities, food, and fun on Saturday, September 26 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at BFA. There will be games, bounce houses, face painting and glitter tattoos, balloon artists, snacks, a dunk tank, food trucks for purchase and the always popular CAKE WALK!!!! All families are welcome!
Tickets are $10 per person and are on sale NOW through September 17 on MySchoolBucks.
Want free tickets? Families who have completed and logged their family’s recommended volunteer hours (30 hours per family or 15 hours per single parent household) for the current school year in Help Counter by midnight Wednesday, September 16, will be given free family admission to the event!
We can’t make this event happen without our volunteers! Volunteers spend a little time helping with setup and tear down, inflatables, food, and check-in, and can spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the event with their family! We hope you’ll consider volunteering to help staff the event, or donating a cake for the cake walk! These are great, FUN opportunities to meet other BFA families and spend time connecting with friends.
Save the Date to Skate! PTO Fall Spirit Night at Skate City on September 16!
Save the date for a fun night of skating at our fall PTO Spirit Night at Skate City on September 16 from 6-8 p.m. Plan to skate the night away with a glow themed skate party and earn money for the PTO. Every paid skater gets free ice cream, so mark your calendars and invite your friends!
