Fill Out the Survey for the 27/28 Academic Calendar

As a charter school, we set our academic calendar. Each year, the Board votes on the calendar for the upcoming year. Three proposed calendars are up for discussion this year. Calendar Option A has the same major breaks and end date as Douglas County, but with a slightly later start date. This calendar is very similar to our current calendar. Calendar Option B has the same major breaks and a similar start date (earlier than our typical calendar) as Douglas County, with an earlier end date. Calendar Option C has the same major breaks as DCSD, a later start date, no November in-service day, and an end date of the Friday after Memorial Day. Please provide your feedback by October 10th using this survey.

The survey also has one additional question. All three calendar options start on a Tuesday and include an in-service day in January at the end of winter break, like we do this year. The extra question asks whether you would prefer to start on a Tuesday and have the day in January, or start on a Wednesday and have no day in January, as we have in previous years.
