📢 DCSD Open Enrollment 2nd Round Opened through August 3📢
BFA uses Open Enrollment (OE) for all admissions. For the 2026-2027 school year, OE is required for all incoming kindergarteners, as well as all new incoming 1st – 8th students applying for admissions to BFA.
âť“Should You Complete Open Enrollment for the 2026-27 School Year?
You must complete Open Enrollment to be eligible for a BFA admissions offer if you have an:
- Incoming Kindergartener.
- Incoming 1st–8th Grader NOT Currently Enrolled at BFA.
🚪💨Current BFA 8th Graders: If your student is graduating from BFA this year and would like to attend a DCSD high school that is not their address-assigned school, you must complete Open Enrollment.
🚫Do NOT Complete Open Enrollment If Your Child Is…
- A current BFA K-7th Grade Student. All current BFA K-7th students will automatically be enrolled at BFA for the 2026-27 school year.
