How to Register for Tryouts

In order to tryout, players must be registered and complete waivers through MySchoolBucks. Any players not registered, cannot tryout. Registration will be available August 6.

On tryout days, players should bring water, change of athletic clothes, and sneakers. Students will stay their classrooms until they are called to the Thunder Gym where they will meet their coach. Coaches will email parents who players who need to attend Callbacks. Final rosters will be available Friday evening (see below for the Final Rosters).

  • $225 for the season
  • After teams are finalized, a payment will be invoiced for the season through MySchoolBucks and includes a sweatshirt, warm-up, and locker sticker.

UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT:

  • Each player will receive a uniform for games. 
  • For practices, you need to wear any appropriate change of athletic clothes and athletic shoes. 
  • You also need to bring your own water bottle. 
  • Please review our Uniform Policy for when our students can wear their team tops instead of required uniform polo.
  • **If practices are before school, remember to bring your school uniform.

Students will stay their classrooms until they are called to the Outdoor Classroom where they will meet their coach. Players are expected to attend both tryouts. Final rosters will be available Friday evening (see below for the Final Rosters).

  • Each runner will receive a BFA Cross Country shirt for meets. This will be signed out with one of your coaches at our first practice. You will be required to provide your own black shorts, socks and running shoes for all meets.
  • For practices, we run outdoors regardless of weather.   You need to wear any appropriate t-shirt, shorts, socks, and running shoes.  As the weather gets colder, you will still be running outside everyday for practice, so please come prepared. 
  • You also need to bring your own water bottle.

Typical starts at the end of September.  We do not have Tryouts but have a registration instead.   There are 24 spots available, first come first served. The students who are able to sign up will participate.

  • Additionally, cheer uniforms will be paid separately.
