    Kevin Leverson


    Kevin received his BS in Finance from Cedarville University and his MBA from the University of Cincinnati.  He began his professional career as a Financial Specialist at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, managing budgets and developing cost estimates for various aircraft acquisition programs.  He and his family moved back to Colorado in 2006 where he worked as a Program Controller for Raytheon, a Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, and finally returned to the Air Force as a Financial Analysis Manager.  He currently works for the Financial Management Center of Expertise managing a team of analysts who provide decision support for capital investments.  Kevin and his wife, Amanda, live in Highlands Ranch with their 5 children. Kevin loves the mountains and enjoys running, cycling, hiking, camping, skiing, and any sports in which his kids are involved.

        Lance Klassen

        Vice Chair

        Lance works for the State of Colorado, and has been in the accounting department for over 10 years, and is currently the Senior Payroll Officer for the Governor’s Office of Information Technology.  Lance has also been a small business owner for over 12 years with rentals in Minnesota, Illinois, and Colorado.  Lance grew up on the farm in Minnesota and moved to Colorado in 2007 and enjoys spending time with his family, finding free events on the weekends, playing basketball and cheering for the Vikings (and all other MN sports)!  Lance and his wife, Sara, have two boys that are in preschool and 1st Grade at BFA.

            Connie Zoerink


            Connie earned both her B.S. and M.S. in Business Administration from Colorado State University.  She is currently a CPA who serves as a Director at TaxOps, where she helps clients to manage their various complex state and local tax obligations.  Connie also works with two nonprofit organizations in Denver to help women and children who are exiting trauma, addictions, and homelessness.  In whatever spare time remains, she enjoys nearly all things that involve the great outdoors – even more so if she is able to spend the time with Tom (that is, when he is not busy helping during carpool!) and daughter Lauren (who is currently in the sixth grade at BFA).

                Ram Annamalai


                Ram is currently employed at Comcast, Director of Market Intelligence and Data Science team. His team plays a key role in using data and advance analytical capabilities to shape strategy and execution for Comcast Business. Prior to joining Comcast, Ram served as the Associate Director, Advanced Data Analytics for AT&T in Denver, where he developed and led Data Insight and Analytics team, which supported AT&T’s strategic goals. Prior to AT&T, Ram was with CenturyLink/Qwest Communications, where he served as Data Analytics Consultant, and he has also served as an independent consultant for Kforce as an Analytics Manager.

                Ram holds a Master of Science, Finance from the University of Colorado; a Master of Science, Engineering from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor of Science, Engineering from Annamalai University in India.

                Outside of work, Ram’s interests include engineering (building and breaking things), sports, and outdoor activities. He resides in Denver with his wife, Devi, and their two children Deepa and Karthik. Deepa attends Ben Franklin Academy. Ram loves spending time with his family, skiing, hiking, and traveling to new places.

                    Aaron Stapp


                    Aaron received a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Colorado State University.  He has 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry where he has held various accounting and finance positions.  Aaron currently serves as the Vice President of Revenue Management with Catholic Health Initiatives, a national not-for-profit hospital/healthcare company.  Aaron and his family have lived in Highlands Ranch for the last three years.  Aaron and his wife Lindsay have three sons, two of whom attend BFA.  He and his family love the Broncos and enjoy all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.

                        Halsley Hoff 

                        Business Manager


                        Halsley loves being part of the Ben Franklin Academy family.  She was involved with our PTO from the beginning initially serving as the Fundraising Coordinator and then as Secretary.  She joined the BFA staff in November of 2012 working as the Business Assistant.  In March 2015, she moved into the role of Business Manager.

                        Halsley is a Colorado native and graduated from Fort Lewis College with a degree in Computer Science.  Prior to BFA she worked as the Clinic/Grants & Contracts Manager at the Barbara Davis Center.  She enjoys taking lots of pictures, digital scrapbooking, camping & hiking in the beautiful Colorado outdoors, and spending time with her husband and two daughters, who have attended BFA since it opened.

                            Courtney Jurbala



                            Courtney Jurbala is Secretary of the BFA Board. She holds Bachelors in both Accounting and Economics from Hartwick College in New York.  Ms. Jurbala also received her MBA from the University of Colorado. Ms. Jurbala has recently become the General Manager of Research Tissue and Cells for a subsidiary of AlloSource, a non-profit tissue bank, out of Centennial, Colorado. Prior to this change, she spent her entire career in Finance for several industries. Ms. Jurbala currently serves as the Board liaison for the School Accountability Committee (SAC).
