Art is an important part of BFA’s STEAM Curriculum. The focus on the arts, along with science, technology, engineering and math creates a well-rounded student. The visual arts program at BFA encourages student creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and communication. Elementary students engage in a variety of visual arts in a noncompetitive environment, learn art history and are exposed to inspiring works of art. Middle school kids have the opportunity to continue their visual arts education through a number of electives, such as Painting and Drawing, Community Art, Sculpture and Mixed Media. If you have questions about BFA’s visual arts program, email Mrs. Hinkle, BFA’s art teacher.
