We have just been informed by the district that MySchoolBucks is still not ready and will not be available next week. While we do not know the exact reasons for the delay, we know it is not converting over to the new school year. As this system oversees most of the student payments for entire district, getting the system fixed is a high priority for DCSD.
In light of this, we believe delaying registration to the end of the month will give the district ample time to convert the system, allowing us to begin.
Dates for Electives Opening in MySchoolBucks
Wednesday, July 30 – 8th Grade
Thursday, July 31 – 7th Grade
Friday, August 1 – 6th Grade
August 6 at 3:00 p.m. – Electives Registration Closes
Electives will open in MySchoolBucks. You will only be able to see them in MSB once your student’s grade is open. MSB will open approximately at 9 a.m. on each of the above days.
Please note, due to the Elective Registration delay, electives WILL NOT appear on the student’s schedule when it opens on August 1. Once you have successfully registered for an elective, you will receive a confirmation email from MySchoolBucks, as well as see it under “Payments”. We anticipate that electives will be on the student’s schedule by Aug. 11.
