John is incredibly excited to continue teaching sixth-grade science at BFA.  This will be his second year in sixth grade and he looks forward to the new challenges, adventures, and many successes that come with teaching such an exciting age group. John received his Bachelors in Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 2015 and after a short time with BFA, knew that he would be with us for quite a while.

John currently lives in Denver with his long-term girlfriend (label subject to change) Kayleigh and their two dogs Koda and Camden.  John spends most of his free time working on projects for his new house/backyard, exercising, running, fishing, cycling – just about anything outdoors – and playing board games with friends.

John can not wait to get the new year up and running!

I graduated from MSU Denver with a bachelors in history and an emphasis in secondary education. I was on the dance team at Metro for two years; before that I danced all throughout high school. I also was on the gymnastics team, and sometimes still like to show off my back handspring skills.

I have three sisters and one nephew, who is so adorable that I cannot get enough of him. I grew up in Thornton and graduated from Horizon High School. I am the middle child of my sisters. I have two older sisters and one younger. We are very close and my phone is always going crazy with our group messages. I try to go the gym a lot and smile often. I love to laugh and especially enjoy when I can share my humor with my students.
