Tomorrow, August 29, is a Dress of Choice Day.

As this is our first Dress of Choice Day (DOC) of the year, we wanted to go over a few items to help make it easier.Clothing worn by all students during the DOC days shall be modest, in good condition, neat in appearance, and meet appropriate length requirements.

Students need to pay close attention to:

  • Students who have received two (2) or more Uniform Policy Violations between the previous DOC day and the upcoming DOC day cannot participate in Dress of Choice but can still wear Spirit Wear top and uniform bottoms.
  • All DOC bottoms (shorts/skirts) must be no shorter than 4″ above the knee.
  • No clothing that contains wording or images that could be interpreted as racial, vulgar, disruptive or offensive in any way.
  • No pajama items
  • Revealing clothes are not acceptable (e.g., tank tops, midriffs, sleeveless, etc.)

We hope this gives parents clear direction on what students can wear Dress of Choice Days. Parents will be called to bring appropriate clothing for students who violate Dress of Choice requirements.

If you ever need clarification, please email us.
