BFA Annual Family Check-In 
The second step in getting your student ready for the 2020-21 school year is BFA Annual Family Check-In. You should have already completed DCSD Express Check-In and paid your fees through MySchoolBucks. The next step in the process, BFA Annual Family Check-In, involves ensuring you have Carpool tags with updated stickers, you’ve submitted all appropriate forms, and all health/medication forms are completed. Normally, we take pictures as well, but we set up a new process this year to help protect families from COVID. Please read below for more information about this year’s BFA Check-In process:
 
Returning BFA Families:

  • Keep your carpool tags from last year. The 2020-21 validation sticker will be distributed after school starts.*
  • Email forms from Express Check-In to info@bfacademy.org on or before Monday, Aug. 3. 
New BFA Families:

  • Each new family is issued two carpool tags. Pick up carpool tags at BFA on one of the following dates:*
    • Thursday, Aug 13, 1:30 – 6:30 p.m. or
    • Friday, Aug 14, 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. 
  • Extra tags can be ordered from MySchoolBucks under the “School Store” at any time. Tags ordered by Saturday, Aug. 1, will be available for pick up Aug. 13 or Aug. 14.
  • Email forms from Express Check-In to info@bfacademy.org on or before Monday, August 3. 
*Carpool tags and new validation stickers will only be given families who have completed the DCSD Express Check-In (Step #1) and emailed required forms to info@bfacademy.org.
 
Medication Drop-Off for Returning and New Families:
  • Thursday, Aug 13, 1:30 – 6:30 p.m. or
  • Friday, Aug 14, 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
