Our BFA librarians have partnered with Tattered Cover Book Store to bring author Paul Tobin to our school on Thursday, March 9.

Students in grades 3-4 are invited to the event at BFA where Tobin will talk about The Genius Factor series, as well as some of his other body of work, including the New York Times bestselling Plants vs. Zombies series, and the Eisner Award winning Bandette, as well as superhero comics for Marvel and DC. In addition, he’ll discuss the art of writing–ideas, execution, and the craft as a whole.  If you would like to purchase a copy of Tobin’s new book for your student, “How To Outsmart a Billion Robot Bees” and have Tobin sign your student’s copy, complete this order form and return it to the BFA Library by mid-morning on Thursday, March 9.

You also are welcome to order Tobin’s books online and have the book(s) shipped to you directly. When ordering, be sure to note that you are from BFA in the notes section.

This is the third visit by an author this school year. In the fall, our librarians worked with Tattered Cover to bring Mike Curato to speak to students in grades K-2, and just last month they welcomed Jessica Brody to visit with grades 5-7.
